Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received a phone call today from President of Ukraine HE Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
At the beginning of the call, HE the Ukrainian President expressed his thanks and appreciation to HH the Amir for the State of Qatar's efforts in reuniting a number of Ukrainian children with their families in Ukraine, praising Qatar's positive diplomatic efforts and its active role in Ukraine and the world.
His Excellency also briefed HH the Amir on the latest developments in Ukraine, affirming in this regard the State of Qatar's support for all international efforts aimed at finding a peaceful solution to the Russian-Ukrainian crisis.
During the call, they also reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen and develop them, in addition to exchanging views on key regional and international issues of common interest.
