The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has warned that hospitals in Gaza are turning into “graveyards”, after medical equipment shut due to the lack of power supply.

ICRC Gaza staff Hisham Mhanna said in a video clip posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, that in the next hours the Palestinian territory’s lone power company could completely shut down.

Hospitals across Gaza are already reeling from shortage of staff and supply, while the number of critically injured grow by the hour due to the continuous Israeli bombardment.
