DOHA: The Qatar Exchange in green area on Tuesday 10,072.05 points or 0.25 percent to 25.48 points from the previous closing of 10,046.57 points on Sunday.
The volume of the shares down to 10,438,544 from 14,676,780 on Monday and the value of shares increased to QR 343,189,784.65 from QR 472,713,191.71 on Monday.
Among the top gainers were Qatar National Bank whose share up 0.59 percent to QR 170.00, Electricity & Water whose share added 1.49 percent to QR 163.00, Intl. Islamic Bank gained 0.34 percent to QR 58.50 and Gulf warehousing Co increased by 0.88 percent to QR 40.15.
The Banking and Financial sector index was gained 0.38 percent points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index lost 0.08 percent points.
The industrial sector was added 0.28 percent points while insurance sector up 0.31 percent points. (QNA)
