Qatar Leadership Centre invites applications for three programmes

DOHA: Qatar Leadership Centre (QLC) is accepting online applications from Qatari professionals for its three national leadership programmes for 2015-2016.
The Rising Leaders, Executive Leaders and Government Leaders programmes aim to foster leadership among Qataris in managerial and executive positions in public and private organizations. The centre has 67 alumni and almost 100 participants.
Applicants undergo a merit-based evaluation, with assessment of educational qualifications, professional experience, leadership potential and other criteria. Qualified Qataris are invited to submit applications on the website, www.qlc.org.qa. Applications will close on December 4.
“QLC is a national platform for leadership excellence,” empowering Qataris to serve their country in innovative ways, said, Abdulla bin Ali Al Thani, Board Member and Managing Director, QLC.
“Our participants benefit from the expertise of our world-class partners and shared collaboration during the programme.” Participants are drawn from diverse fields, including government, oil and gas, healthcare, education, military, finance and tourism.
The Rising Leaders Programme enrols Qataris aged 25-35 with at least three years of professional experience. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or above and a sound command of English and Arabic.
The Executive Leaders Programme is for Qataris aged 36-46 with at least 10 years of professional experience. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or above, hold a managerial position and have a sound command of English and Arabic. The Government Leaders Programme in Arabic is for Qataris aged 25-40. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or above and at least three years of professional experience. Participants enhance personal and professional skills to contribute to the country’s future.
