DOHA: HH Chairperson of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development Sheikha Moza bin Nasser met Wednesday with President of the Federative Republic of Brazil Dilma Rousseff and her accompanying delegation.
HH Sheikha Moza welcomed the visit of Brazilian President and praised legislation the latter issued to develop education in Brazil. On the other hand, Rousseff praised the efforts of HH Sheikha Moza on the international level to support education, since it was a right for all.
The two parties discussed the scope for cooperation and partnership in different fields. They focused in particular on archival and how to benefit from Qatar National Library. They also discussed how to benefit from Arab documents found in Brazilian archives. Furthermore, they discussed how to bolster cooperation between Qatar Foundation and education institutions in Brazil. (QNA)
