DOHA: Vodafone Qatar yesterday announced the winners of the third edition of its SMS-based competition, World of Prizes. Sixty-three winners walked away with some of the latest smartphones and cash prizes.
Abdulhaseeb Valiyakath Kondottil won a cash prize of QR100,000 and Maryam Youssef, Abdul Aziz Al Jallabi, Somasundaran Chakkingal, Mario Cancbida Sarita, Michael Park, Katherine Salango Tagudar, Maximo Ortega Santos, Jane Ezar Senupe won cash prizes of QR50,000 each.
Thirteen people won an iPhone 6 and 41 a Samsung S5. The full list of winners is available at www.vodafone.qa/wop3. Launched in August 2014, World of Prizes 3 offered customers the chance to win prizes by answering questions.
The competition was wrapped up in October and winners were called to the Vodafone offices to collect their prizes.
