Four-time national hockey champions Wanderers Qatar team which finished as runners-up in the Bahrain Open six-a-side championship held at the St Christopher’s School in Isa Town last week. After finishing their group engagements on top, Wanderers beat Kuwait HC 3-1 in the semi-final, but lost 0-2 to UTSC in the final. Former India captain Jude Felix was the guest of honour at the tournament, which featured 12 teams from the region, including six from the host nation.
