Friends Of Rhythm & Mercy or FORM Qatar, an arts and cultural organization in Qatar by a group of Doha residents from Kerala, India will conduct a musical night on December 12, 2019.
Led by renowned musician M. Jayachandran, the show ‘Manjanipoonilavu’ will be held at Qatar Volley Ball Association Indoor court, Al-Arabi Sports Club. Vijay Yesudas, Karthik, Swetha Mohan, Jyotsna, Kannur Sherif and Rahna will be participating.
An award instituted by the forum in the name of late Mappilapattu legend Eranholy Moosa will be presented to an artiste from Kerala selected by the jury for the overall contribution to the art form Mappilapattu. A cash award of INR100,000 and plaque will be given to the award winner.
FORM Qatar will honour M Jayachandran to mark his completion of 25 years in film industry as music director and singer. Forum’s general secretary EM Sudheer welcomed the sponsors of the event and president KK Usman briefed about the organization.
