Doha: As part of its commitment to promote sport and healthy lifestyle, ‘Grey – Doha’ Agency for PR & Advertising participated in the Ooredoo Marathon 2015.
The participation came in line with the Supreme Council of Health’s (SCH) goals to encourage more young people to take part in sport activities and adopt a healthy lifestyle.
Grey’s runners printed SCH logo on their shirts to highlight the importance of the council’s endeavours to support any cause related to health awareness.
Karim Zarka, Managing Director, Grey - Doha, said: “Our participation in the marathon translates our agency’s commitment to its corporate social responsibility strategy and is in line with Qatar National Vision 2030 and its Human Development Pillar with health constituting one of its cornerstones.
“Grey aims to raise awareness about benefits of sport and physical activity, increase the community’s participation in sport and develop talents.
“We are pleased to support efforts being made to place well-being and healthy lifestyle at the top of people’s priorities. Raising awareness about health topics, such as regular exercise and proper nutrition, is part of the fundamentals advocated by Grey,” Zarka said.
“Qatar has enjoyed global recognition in the field of sport in recent years and continues to advance with efforts to create a safer, healthier and more peaceful society.
“Grey’s participation aims to spread the humanitarian message within the community and encourage our team to get involved in sport and healthy lifestyles,” Zarka added.
