Ankara: Turkish Exporters’ Assembly announced on Wednesday that Turkish exports to African countries achieved a record levels during 2022, exceeding $21bn. In a statement, the assembly pointed out that Turkish exports to African countries during 2022 increased by 12.3 percent, compared to 2021.
The data indicated that Turkish exports value to African countries during 2022 amounted to $21.8bn, noting that the share of the African countries from Turkish exports during the same year amounted to 8.6 percent from the total exports to abroad.
The assembly added that Turkiye’s exports value to European Union amounted to $93.6bn, $32.8bn to Middle East and $21.8bn to Africa.
