DOHA: Hundreds of participants at National Sport Day celebrations on the Corniche underwent BMI tests (Body Mass Index) at special tents set up by the Qatar Development Bank (QDB), in collaboration with the Hamad Medical Corporation in Al Bida Park.
The free tests were part of QDB’s Time to Change health campaign.
HMC’s qualified personnel conducted the tests and gave helpful recommendations for a healthier lifestyle.
Raw ME, the up and coming vegan fast food chain, rounded up the experience with its nutritious and fresh juices.
Mansour bin Ibrahim Al Mahmoud, CEO of QDB, said: “We are extremely pleased with the outcome of the campaign we ran on the occasion. ‘Time to Change’ simply says it all: It is the time for all of us, young and old, to develop and embrace a healthier way of living.
“We would like to thank Hamad Medical Corporation for their support and Raw ME for their contribution to the success of the campaign.”
