Abu Dhabi: The Qatari Embassy in the UAE organised a sport day for diplomats and staff yesterday on the Corniche of Abu Dhabi.
Qatar’s Ambassador Abdullah Mohamed Al Uthman said the sport day confirms Qatar’s keenness on caring for its citizens by emphasising the importance of exercise and the keenness of the wise leadership on focusing on the health of citizens and residents.
Meanwhile, Qatar’s embassy in Cairo celebrated the day in the presence of Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Delegate to the Arab League Saif bin Muqaddam Al Buainain, the embassy diplomats and staff.
During the celebrations at the embassy premises, participants highlighted sporting activities in the country.
They also shed light on extensive developments in the field of sports in Qatar under the leadership of the Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and the Heir Apparent H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
