DOHA: The Ministry of Interior will organise a free introductory seminar on its “Metrash2” and other services for HR heads of companies, schools and representatives of public relations companies on February 17.
Services of the General Directorate of Borders Passports and Expatriates Affairs will also be introduced at the seminar at 8.30am at the Civil Defence club beside Al Ahli Hospital in Bin Omran.
The event is being organised by the PR Department at the ministry.
It will discuss the law for regulating the entry and exit of expats and their residence and sponsorship laws, services centres of the Unified Services Department at the ministry and Search and Follow Up Department and penalties for violating the law.
A lecture on community policing in Qatar and the country’s customs and traditions will be delivered by officers from Capital Security Department.
There will also be an introduction to the electronic services available on the website of the ministry www.moi.gov.qa, e-awareness initiative of the ministry and free awareness programmes for companies.
The highlight of the seminar will be demonstrations of services available at “Metrash2” by experts from the IT Department at the ministry.
