DOHA: A Criminal Court of Appeals hearing the Villaggio fire case has again asked Aljazeera TV to provide a CD of the footages its crew had taken of the blaze and firefighters’ rescue efforts on the day of the incident on May 28, 2012.
The court yesterday adjourned the hearing until March 30 and asked inspectors and experts from the Civil Defence Department at the Ministry of Interior to testify as witness.
Local TV stations and Aljazeera were supposed to provide the court with CDs of the footages but they didn’t. The court then asked Aljazeera again to submit the CDs.The Peninsula
