DOHA: National service training for the second batch of secondary school students will begin at the Al Shamal camp on Sunday.
The national service centre at Al Shamal camp will tomorrow receive the candidates for training, Al Sharq reported.
The new batch will include Qatari secondary school students and those younger in age. All preparations for the training have been completed, the daily quoted Brig Mohammed Misfir Al Ayadi, chairman of the national service authority, as saying.
The candidates will undergo intensive training. There will be some changes in the cultural and awareness programmes for the participants. The military training will follow the same pattern as in the first batch, he added. Training for the third batch is expected to begin by mid-March.THE PENINSULA
