Doha: Qatar’s leading telecommunications operator Ooredoo will sponsor an event organised by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology to celebrate National Sport Day 2023 in Doha.
MCIT will organise a raft of activities at Crescent Park in celebration of the annual event, held to promote the importance of a healthy, active lifestyle among communities in Qatar. The event – to be held from 8am until 2pm on Tuesday (tomorrow) – will feature a wide range of activities for all ages and abilities to enjoy, from padel to football and much more.
Sabah Rabiah Al Kuwari, Director PR at Ooredoo, said: “We have a strategic commitment to supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, one of which is promoting good health and wellbeing, and events such as this enable us to demonstrate this commitment in a practical way. We are delighted to work with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology on this awesome event.”
As well as sponsorship of the overall event, Ooredoo will sponsor two event activities designed to upgrade the experiences on offer to attendees: the VR game and Sisyfox.
