US national Jesse-Blue Forrest (centre) and Canadian Sandra-Moon Dancer (third right) begin their march called ‘Dandi Yatra’ from Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad, yesterday. Following in the footsteps of Mahatma Gandhi who began a march with the same name to oppose a salt tax imposed by the British, Forrest has planned his movement to propagate disarmament and protest compulsory military service registration. The march is to end in Dandi on April 15.
