Doha: Ooredoo and Cisco yesterday announced the signing of a strategic participant agreement to showcase next generation technology solutions at the upcoming 2014 International Telecommunications Union (ITU) Telecom World Conference in Qatar.
The event this December brings together influential global leaders from the ICT industry to drive industry success and address critical socio-economic challenges.
“We are delighted to welcome Cisco as a key participant for the conference.
“Agreements like this highlight the importance of the event, not just for Qatar, but also for the Information, Communications and Technology industry,” said Sheikh Saud bin Nasser Al Thani, CEO, Ooredoo Qatar.

The agreement was signed by Sheikh Saud and Chris Dedicaot, President, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia.
