Moscow: Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held today a telephone conversation with Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlut Cavusoglu.
The Russian Foreign Ministry released a statement today to the press saying that the two sides discussed preparations for a meeting on Syria in Astana and the implementation of the ceasefire agreements.
They also discussed the implementation of the agreements related to maintaining the ceasefire and establishing an effective intra-Syrian negotiation.
The upcoming Astana meeting on Syria will take place on March 14 and 15.
