The Guzagah-e-Khayal Forum held a meeting recently at the residence of M S Bukhari and appointed his the chairman of the forum.
The meeting was attended by the forum’s founding president Faisal Hanif Khayal, senior vice president Muhammad Shad Akolvi, vice president Iftekhar Raghib, general secretary, Fartash Syed, media secretary Roase Mumtaz and forum treasurer Rizwan Ali. Qatar based writer and founding president of Indo-Qatar Urdu Markaz, Sulaiman Dehlvi and vice president Indo-Qatar Urdu Markaz Syed Abdul-Hye, were present from the board of advisory committee.
Faisal Hanif Khayal founded Guzergah-e-Khayal Forum in 2009 to serve Urdu by bringing people together regardless of their nationalities for the purpose of promoting Urdu language and literature.
Guzergah-e-Khayal has also been organizing monthly Ghalib symposiums in which Ghalib’s poems are carefully studied and critically analysed. Along with this, the Forum has also conducted the book launching ceremony of Indian poet Iftekhar Raghib.
