DOHA: A criminal court has acquitted a GCC national accused by an Arab woman expatriate of sending her indecent emails with vulgar photographs and threatening to defame her and make sure that she was deported.
The woman said in her lawsuit that since she had an argument with the man and they were not on good terms, she suspected that he was using a fake email ID to mail her threatening and vulgar communication.
His personal computers and mobile phones were checked by law enforcement agencies to confirm if it was he who was sending those mails but no evidence was found, so the court acquitted him, a local Arabic daily reported yesterday.
