DOHA: Ooredoo has witnessed strong interest in the new Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge, which have been launched at selected Ooredoo shops and on its online store — the Ooredoo eShop.
The devices have seen a high demand across the region, and to ensure customers can purchase S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge without waiting for further stock delivery dates, Ooredoo has secured a high quantity of devices this week.
Ooredoo is an official partner of Samsung phones in Qatar, and the strong connection between the two companies means that customers can enjoy the latest devices and guaranteed, authorised products.
The company is offering Galaxy S6 (32GB) in white or black for QR2,599 and Galaxy S6 edge (32GB) for QR3,099.
To take advantage of the 4G+ network, Ooredoo is offering new customers who activate a new SIM (Hala or Shahry) three 3GB data cards for free. Existing customers will get a 3GB data card with every device purchase.
With their slim, seamless, full metal and glass construction, the sleek, ultra-thin edged Galaxy S6 and unique, dual curved Galaxy S6 edge are crafted from the finest materials, making these the thinnest smartphones Samsung has ever created.
Featuring a 5.1-inch screen and the ability to fast charge its battery, letting users watch two  hours of HD video from just 10 minutes charging, S6 and S6 edge are set to become one of the most popular phones in the country.
This is the latest in a surge of device launches for Ooredoo in 2015, as the operator continues to expand its portfolio and ensures bigger, faster and better technologies are available for its customers. The Peninsula
