Doha: Qatar welcomed the appointment of Khalid Bahah as Vice-President of Yemen, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement yesterday.
The ministry hoped this would be a step towards maintaining the legitimacy and upholding Yemen’s security and stability.
It wished Bahah success in his mission, particularly in view of the difficult circumstances Yemen is witnessing.
