The ten-day Emir Cup shooting and archery championship will begin from today at the Losail Shooting Complex, Qatar Shooting and Archery Association (QSAA) announced.
The tournament is set to see the participation of Qatari national team shooters in the shotgun, pistol and archery competitions.
The event is open for men and women, and will be held in both the senior sections. The championship will help QSAA spot more talented shooters, who will be trained under the watchful eyes of the coaches working under the preview of QSAA.
Last month the board members of QSAA met to discuss some of the main developments in the sport at the local and international levels as well as the latest developments in terms of sport rules at the global stage before introducing them locally.
The Championship ends on April 22.
