Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has sent a cable of greetings to Sudanese President Omar Hassan Al Bashir on the succcessful surgery he has undergone , and wished him the best of health.
The Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani has sent similar cable to Sudanese President.
Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday sent a cable of condolence to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia on the death of Prince Turki bin Saad bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Doha: The Advisory Council held its 42nd regular session under the chairmanship of Speaker H E Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi.
The Council reviewed a memo from the Cabinet General Secretariat addressed to the Ministry of Finance on the Advisory Council’s recommendation concerning the state’s draft public budget of the fiscal year 2014/2015. The council then took note of it. The council also discussed a report of the Legal and Legislative Affairs committee on a decree law No. 15 of 2013 amending some provisions of lease law No 4 of 2008. The Council decided to refer its recommendations thereon to the cabinet.

OGS now offers a single point of contact for wholesale carriers to access the company’s 18 operating companies representing one of the largest Internet peering networks in the Middle East that is interconnected with more than 100 operators, including many of the largest in the world.
