The general body meeting of Indian Physiotherapy Forum-Qatar (IPFQ) elected office-bearers for the term 2015-2017. IPFQ is the official body representing physiotherapists from India working in Qatar. The forum is affiliated to Indian Cultural Centre under the aegis of Embassy of India.
The forum is committed to promote excellence among physiotherapists by conducting educational activities like workshops and courses. IPFQ also has various activities to give back to the community in Qatar through medical camps and awareness programmes.
New President Mohammed Yasir promised a variety of activities from IPFQ in collaboration with ICC, Indian Embassy, SCH and other organisations in the coming two years.
The new office-bearers are: President - Mohamed Yasir, Vice- President - Shefi V Rasheed, General Secretary - Binoy Das N H, Joint Secretary - Sheena Maria John, and Treasurer - Shahir M T.
