Doha: ACS International School Doha recently hosted its ‘Pathways To Tomorrow’ seminar to launch its exciting breadth of High School curriculum options open to students as they advance towards university placements and future careers.

The event was held for current and prospective parents at ACS Doha’s landmark Al Kheesa campus and demonstrated how the wide selection of academic pathway options on offer could be tailored to suit a student’s interests and abilities while raising their academic performance and maximising their potential.

“It was exciting to see parents and students talking to our teachers and department leads, sharing their passion for their subjects and the excitement offered by each course. It made us realise that there is no substitution for face-to-face conversations, and we look forward to hosting more events like this in the future,” said Vanessa Robitaille, Deputy Head of School.

“Every child has huge potential, and a singularly set curriculum doesn’t always provide the key to unlocking the magic in each young person. With these universally accepted academic pathways and the help of their High School Counsellor, each student can ensure they meet their next academic targets and dream university and college destinations with success. We all have a different key, and our pathways options help each student find their own,” Robitaille added.

ACS Doha currently offers students the opportunity to study globally recognised and rigorous programmes with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma and Career-related Programme; Advanced Placement (AP) courses, a US programme offering college-level curricula and exams to High School students, as well as the US High School Diploma.

The event also introduced the new academic and pastoral support structure for Middle and High School and offered parents an opportunity to meet and discuss the pathways and educational goals tailored to each child.

With the success of its first Academic Pathways event, ACS Doha has scheduled two further event dates in the next academic year for the public to attend and understand more about the rigorous educational programmes.

ACS Doha’s ‘Pathways To Tomorrow’ is designed to help highly ambitious learners excel in widely respected international qualifications and supports robust applications to the world’s top universities.
