The Galfar Toastmasters Club installed its new Executive Committee recently. The Ex-Com will be led by Subramanya Hebbagelu, who will serve as the President for the 2020-21 term. The new team comprises of both seasoned and new Toastmasters.
Galfar Toastmasters Club is a Corporate Club of the engineering and construction firm in Qatar, Galfar Al Misnad. The Club was incorporated in 2009 to enhance the communication and leadership skills of the employees. Since its inception, more than 150 staff members have benefitted from this programme.
At the event attended by many Galfar employees, the Keynote Speech was delivered by Satish G. Pillai, Executive Director of Galfar Al Misnad, who appreciated the great improvements that have been witnessed in employees ever since Galfar Toastmasters Club began in 2009.
Sessions on leadership and communication were also held during the meeting by District 116 Public Relations Manager, Venkatesan and Champion Speaker John Henry respectively.
The installation was held under the stewardship of Division A Director, Subair Pandavath, who was the general evaluator for the evening. The installation of the new Ex-Com was conducted by Area 03 Director, Sonia Jadav. Both Subair and Sonia called upon the new Ex-Com to take the club to even greater heights in the new term.
