Washington: US President Joe Biden headed Wednesday to the Middle East in his first visit to the region since taking office.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, and several officials accompany the US President.
During his Middle East tour, Biden will hold talks with officials from the Israeli entity, and he will meet Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. Then, he will head to Saudi Arabia to meet the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, Egypt, Iraq, and Jordan.
