Doha: An 18-year-old student of Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q) fell unconscious and went into a coma at the campus yesterday, Al Sharq reported. Muhammed Al Buhelaiqa,  a kidney patient, sustained injuries in the head and nose after he lost consciousness and fell. Citing family members, the Arabic daily said no one came to his rescue for nearly an hour. When his father could not reach him after several calls on his mobile phone, his brother, who also studies at Education City, looked for Muhammed and found him lying unconscious. The university had given Muhammed a separate rest room in view of his health problem. “An ambulance was called but it came late because of traffic,” a family member said, adding Muhammed was still in a coma.
