Souq Waqif was bustling with visitors yesterday, with people enjoying shopping with their friends and family. The Souq is renowned for selling traditional garments, spices, handicrafts and souvenirs. It is also home to dozens of restaurants serving cuisines from all over the world, as well as shisha lounges. Many people preferred window shopping while others enjoyed their shisha with friends and family at restaurants. The eateries provided visitors a relaxed evening as they sipped fresh juice while watching shoppers pass by. Outlets selling antiques and heritage items attracted many people.
