Imran can only blame himself if march fails

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan should blame no one else but himself if his campaign launched to dislodge Nawaz Sharif government fails and he returns back empty-handed with his bogie of ‘Azadi March’ without achieving most of its objectives.
Imran failed to understand that kind of public mobilisation done by him was half-cooked and not enough which could have supplemented his claims to bring one million people to the federal capital to paralyse the system, for it was not realistic. He had assured his followers that the ‘mission’ would be achieved within no time; at least he did not estimate it might take a month or even more and keeping the mob intact for such long period would be next to impossible.
Above all, Imran, despite his tall claims, that he was campaigning to bring true democracy in the country to replace Sharif family dynasty in which accountability and justice would prevail, he proved himself to be an autocrat in his decisions and actions.
Javed Hashmi, his right hand man, abandoned him on the grounds that he did not hear or abide by the majority party decisions and took unilateral decision which proved fatal in the end.
The first mistake that he committed in first week of his ‘dharna’ was that he singularly decided to march on towards PM House following in the footsteps of Tahirul Qadri which police had declared as ‘red line’ in the Red Zone and warned not to cross it, resultantly clash with police played havoc with the PTI supporters.
Khan’s campaign met with instant setback when he lost sympathies of those people who agreed with his connotation of the polls having been grossly rigged and illegitimacy of the present government.                          INTERNEWS
