Doha: Air cargo and private airports customs administration foiled an attempt to smuggle shabo into the country.
The Customs Department shared a video on Twitter and showed that the forbidden substance was found hidden inside spare parts of cars. The total weight of the seized shabo was 1 kg. Shabu/Shabo is a local term for an illegal methamphetamine drug which is prevalent in some parts of Asia.

The authorities have been issuing continuous warnings against carrying illegal substances into the country.
Customs officers are provided with all means of support including the latest devices and continuous training to read the body language of passengers and be aware of the latest methods followed by smugglers.
