Kabul: Unknown individuals lobbed a hand grenade near a mosque in the capital of southern Ghazni province yesterday, killing one and injuring six others, police said.
The grenade exploded at one of the mosque’s gates, said Ghulam Mohiuddin, Ghazni police chief.  He said police had opened an investigation into the incident. The wounded included two elderly men and a child and three were critical. The explosion took place when people were preparing to leave through the main gate after performing prayers. QNA
