Doha: Ooredoo has provided free speed upgrades on its two entry-level home fibre plans, providing subscribers with faster Internet speeds and greater reliability on their current packages.
The speed increase was rolled out over Eid Al Adha holidays to Ooredoo Fibre customers on the 1Mbps and 10Mbps home fibre plans. 1Mbps plan customers will see a 10-time speed increase to 10Mbps, while existing 10Mbps customers will be boosted to 25Mbps.
With the speed boost, Ooredoo Home Fibre customers in Qatar will enjoy instant benefits, including short to no buffering on popular content, and the ability to stream and download high definition content at faster speeds.
The upgrade is permanent for home fibre broadband and Mozaic TV subscribers connected to the Ooredoo Fibre network. It is one of the biggest for fibre customers in recent months,” Fatima Sultan Al Kuwari, Director, Community & Public Relations, said.
