SIS celebrated Gandhi Jayanti programme under the guidance of Social Science Department reliving the memories of the freedom struggle of India under the leadership of Gandhiji.
The students from the middle section participated with a great sense of nationalism and spirit.
Sidra welcomed the gathering comprising the Principal, Dr Subhash Nair, Vice Princial Admin, Shihabudeen, Vice Principal – CBSEi, Headmistress Prabha Saji and Mehjabeen.
Tabarak of Class VII presented the life and teachings of the great leader. Suroor of class VIII made a presentation of rare pictures from the life and struggles of Gandhi. The school choir and the dance troupe added the musical flavour.
Shihabudeen, in his speech, urged the students to pick some traits of Gandhi’s life and follow his principles to be successful in all spheres of life.
Sharlet of Grade VIII concluded the programme with her vote of thanks.
