DOHA: The Amiri Air Defense Forces performed Shield 6 (Sky Nex) exercise in Al Qalayel Square of the Armed Forces in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs HE Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah and Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces HE Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit.
During the exercise, a direct engagement took place between the shooting units of the Amiri Air Defense Forces and a number of fixed and movable-wing drones. The success rate of hitting the targets was 100 percent for all targets in a record time.
The exercise was attended by the Commander of the Qatari Amiri Air Defense Forces HE Staff Major General Rashid Ali Al Qashouti and a number of officers in the Armed Forces.
