Doha: Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs H E Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi met yesterday with Ambassador of the French Republic to Yemen H E Jane Mary Safa, who is currently visiting the country.
The meeting discussed aspects of the cooperation between Qatar and the French Republic and ways to support and develop them, in addition to the developments in Yemen.
The Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs reiterated Qatar’s position calling for a solution to the Yemeni crisis based on the Gulf initiative and relevant Security Council resolutions, specifically Resolution No. 2216.
