Doha: A recent blood donation drive conducted by Masraf Al Rayan, one of Qatar’s largest Islamic banks, drew a strong response from its staff, further demonstrating the bank’s commitment and support to the local community.
Organised in collaboration with the Blood Donor Centre of Hamad Medical Corporation, the drive took place at the bank’s headquarters in Lusail. The CSR initiative underlines the Bank’s ‘Give back to community’ commitment.
“We were delighted to see so many employees take part in this drive, especially at such a busy time of the year,” commented Eman Al Naemi, Head of Communications and Marketing.
“Such initiatives enhance workplace health, social engagement and the bank’s support for employee volunteering.
“In embracing our Corporate Social Responsibility vision, we look to support cohesive social integration and demonstrate our belief in the benefits of engaging with all sections of the community by building sustainable bonds with individuals and groups and contributing positively to activities which enhance their lives,” Al Naemi added.
