Sharm El-Sheikh: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met today with a number of Their Majesties, Highnesses, and Excellencies, leaders of brotherly and friendly countries, heads of governments, and delegations participating in the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit, at the International Conference Center in Sharm El-Sheikh, Arab Republic of Egypt.
HH the Amir met separately with HM King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan; President of the French Republic HE Emmanuel Macron; Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan HE Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif; Prime Minister of the United Kingdom HE Keir Starmer; Prime Minister of Canada HE Dr. Mark Carney; Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany HE Friedrich Merz; and Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court HH Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
During the meetings, views were exchanged on the most prominent topics on the summit agenda, particularly those related to the agreement to end the war in Gaza, the flow of humanitarian aid to the Strip, and support for peace and security in the region.
They also discussed ways to support and strengthen cooperation and relations within the international community in various fields.
The meetings were attended by Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Chief of the Amiri Diwan HE Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, and several members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Amir.
