DOHA: The Qatar Exchange in green area on Wendesday 10,128.52 points or 0.56 percent to 56.47 points from the previous closing of 10,072.05 points on Tuesday.
The volume of the shares up to 11,614,145 from 10,438,544 on Tuesday and the value of shares increased to QR 475,158,250.58 from QR 343,189,784.65 on Tuesday.
Among the top gainers were Qatar National Bank whose share up 1.00 percent to QR 171.70, Electricity & Water whose share added 2.15 percent to QR 166.50, Industries Qatar gained 0.80 percent to QR 164.60 and Doha Insurance increased by 0.58 percent to QR 25.85.
The Banking and Financial sector index was gained 0.56 % points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index lost 0.18 percent points.
The industrial sector was added 0.81 percent points while insurance sector up 0.67 percent points. (QNA)
