DOHA: Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) held its First Qatar Orthopaedic Research Day, featuring Professor Mohit Bhandari, orthopaedic surgery expert from McMaster University, Canada.
Dr Mohamed Al Ateeq Al Dosari, Head, Orthopaedic Surgery Department, and Director, Bone and Joint Centre, HMC, said the event demonstrated the department’s commitment to adopt modern approaches in orthopaedic surgery. “We are looking forward to seeing a new generation of researchers and their findings.”
Dr Ghaleb Ahmad, Programme Manager for the event, said Orthopaedic Research Day was part of the Continuing Medical Education programme at HMC.
Dr Abdulaziz Al Kuwari, Consultant Spine Surgeon, HMC, said Prof Bhandari is one of the founders of modern medical research methodology.
