Students of Park House have been awarded Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards from the Cambridge International Examinations held in June 2012.
The Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards recognise exceptional performance from around the world in Cambridge examinations, reflecting the talent in the learners and acknowledging the dedication and commitment of both teachers and students.
Six Park House students achieved awards this year for obtaining the highest marks in Qatar: Noor Alanni, IGCSE Geography; Asma Hasan, IGCSE ICT; Bayu Utomo, AS Level Applied ICT; Evi Demetriou, IGCSE Greek; Jessica Higgs, IGCSE Physical Education; and Eiman Ali, IGCSE Sociology.
“Our students performed exceptionally well in the external examinations this year and we are very proud of them all. For six of our students to achieve the ‘Top in Qatar’ is great news and reflects the hard work and dedication of these students and their teachers. I congratulate them and their families for this tremendous success,” said Dougie Smith, Headmaster of Park House English School.
“We are very proud of our students’ achievements; I would like to congratulate them as they have performed outstandingly well.
“A great deal of hard work and dedication from the learners, as well as support from their school and families are behind these awards. These learners have a bright future ahead of them, and I wish them well,” said Niall Brennan, Park House Director and son of the founder, Heather Brennan.
