Doha: Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) has launched an urgent appeal for $1.5m (QR5.5m) for 6,500 people of about 1,300 families affected by Hurricane Hagupit in central Philippines.
In cooperation with Philippine National Association, International Committee of the Red Cross and International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, QRCS seeks to meet urgent and humanitarian needs of displaced people. QNA
