Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani sent a cable of congratulations to the Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta on his country’s Independence Day.
The Deputy Emir H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani also sent a cable of congratulations to Kenyatta.
The Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani sent a similar cable to Kenyatta.
Brussels: H E Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday offered condolences of the Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to King Philip of Belgium on the death of former queen Fabiola.
Sheikh Joaan also offered condolences to members of the royal family during the funeral service in the capital Brussels, attended by dignitaries and officials.
