MUSCAT: Omani police said on Monday they had arrested 113 illegal infiltrators of different nationalities who had entered the country across the borders.
The infiltrators were detained in the Omani provinces of Muscat and Musandam, a police statement, quoted by the Kuwaiti news agency KUNA said.
The infiltrators are of various Asian nationalities. Thirteen of them have been deported.
In 2012, Omani authorities arrested 3,400 infiltrators who entered the country illegally for the purpose of working in the Sultanate and other GCC countries. (QNA)
