DOHA: The Qatar Exchange down on Monday 45.04 points or 0.52 percent to 8,639.68 points from the previous closing of 8,684.72 points.
The volume of shares traded up to 3,701,502 from 2,718,723 on Sunday, and the value of shares increased to QR245,422,504.13 from QR151,938,362.93 Sunday.
Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share dropped 2.61 percent to QR134.40, Commercial Bank of Qatar lost 0.94 percent to QR74.10,Qatar Navigation fell 1.54 percent to QR64.00 and National Leasing down 0.66 percent to QR45.20.
Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector dropped 1.11 points while the Insurance sector fell 0.05 points. The Qatar industrial sector down 0.38 points and the Services sector added 0.13 points. (QNA)
