DOHA: Al Rayyan Municipality has set up more counters at its headquarters to provide faster services to the public.
The new counters will provide services, including endorsement of contracts and those related to health and technical monitoring, inspections, labour camps and excavations, Qatar News Agency said yesterday quoting an official of the Customer Care Centre at the municipality.
Meanwhile, inspectors from the Health Monitoring Section at the municipality confiscated huge quantities of chewing tobacco (sweika and gutka) from a grocery shop.
The shop owner was arrested and referred to authorities for further action.
