DOHA: Bookings for the newly-built marriage complex has started and the first marriage will be held on the premises on Friday. The complex on Al Rafah Street has five super luxury halls built by the government to allot for Qataris marrying for the first time, at nominal charges.
Each hall can accommodate 500 people. They are interconnected, separated by makeshift walls that can be removed to make way for a supersize hall that can accommodate up to 2,500 people, Al Arab reports.
The hall can be booked online by logging in http://www.alrayyanevents.qa/.
For online booking, the system asks personal details of the user with telephone number and address. After filling the data, a reference number is given to be confirmed at the complex in person. An SMS of confirmation is also sent by the system. If the person does not go to the complex for confirmation within 72 hours, the booking will be cancelled. The complex is open from 9am to 5pm. A person can book one or more halls as per the situation. The complex is the entrance of Al Rafa Street from Al Shihaniya-Dukhan Road, near Al Rayan Sport Club. The Peninsula
