Radio Suno 91.7 FM, Qatar’s favorite Malayalam Station partnered with MediaPen and Krishiyidam, the Facebook group that supports farming in Qatar, to host the grand show ‘Karshikolsavam’ season 2 on January 10 at Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC). The show received an overwhelming response from the Keralite expatriates in Qatar who are also a part of Krishiyidam Group on Facebook.
‘Karshikolsavam’ started with a grand and sumptuous traditional feast ‘Sadya for more than 500 people at Ideal Indian School ground, Abu Hamour and followed by a magnificent musical night at QNCC.
The fest was adorned by Navya Nair, the popular actress from the Kerala Film Industry and the singers viz, kannur Shareef, Shafi Kollam, Saleem Kodathur, Sheikha and Faseela Banu.
The other attraction of the fest was a comedy show by famous comedy artists from the south, Mahesh and Bijesh. An on air contest was organised by Radio Suno 91.7 FM where in the winners were given passes for the fest and the online contest winners were given 32 inches Sharp LED TVs sponsored by Reigate Builders.
‘Krishiyidam’ Facebook group, that was started three years ago has now become a hub for around 14000 individuals who love farming & gardening. “Special appreciation goes to Radio Suno 91.7 FM team for the huge support before and during the event.
